Caring For Your KaiNiu Towels

Did you know? The U.S. is the second leading emitter of carbon dioxide, responsible for 22% of global emissions. U.S. residential laundry emits 179 million metric tons of carbon dioxide every year.

  • According to ENERGY STAR, the average American family washes about 300 loads of laundry each year.

  • Heating the water accounts for 90% of the energy used by a washing machine.

  • The dryer makes up almost 6% of home energy use (by contrast the washer accounts for 1% of home energy use).

Gentle on the Planet

Wash Cold

Let's face it, a wet towel can quickly become a smelly towel. All our towel products are funk-resistant and dry faster which means you don't need warm water temperatures to get clean and more time in between washes. Washing the towel products cold (and avoid fabric softeners) will make the fabric last longer and reduce the energy use per load.

Air Dry or Tumble Dry Low

Unlike terry cotton towels which hold onto water and are heavy, our towel products are quick-dry and lightweight. Our towels dry 4x faster than terry cotton towels, which makes it perfect to air dry after use. If you prefer to tumble dry the towels, dry on low heat to maintain their softness. Avoid high heat to prevent damage and say hello to fresh earth friendly towels.
